I love chocolate
I’ve managed to pretty much wean myself off milk chocolate and I stick to dark but I would still like to eat it more than I do
I’ve found that having a chocolate flavoured smoothie really helps and hits the spot
So I came up with a pretty healthy version
Ingredients
Glass of milk
Teaspoon of protein powder (pure protein powder like hemp or pea, with nothing added). You can use collagen powder as well or instead.
Teaspoon of flaxseeds
Teaspoon to dessert spoon of cocoa powder depending on your chocolate strength preferences (or you can use cacao but less needed and be wary of having this close to bedtime)
1/2 or 1 medjool date (stick to 1/2 if you can)
Block of frozen cauliflower
Few spinach leaves
Directions
Whizz it all up and drink. If it’s too thick add a splash of water or more milk.
